This turned out really good, although....I made it a little bit differently! I frosted and filled the chocolate cupcakes with whip topping and instant chocolate pudding, they were so good! I have never filled cupcakes before, so I popped a couple tops of the cupcakes because I filled them too much! I topped some with strawberrys, nuts and even hot fudge and everyone loved them!

To really make this recipe special use butter flavored yellow cake mix. Fill the middle with a combination of cream cheese, powedered sugar and cool whip mixed together. Frost the top with the same and then put strawberries on top. They turn into little strawberry shortcakes. You can even shove a strawberry slice in the middle with the filling if you like.

this type of cupcake reminded me of being a child when mom added peanut butter to white frosting but frosted the cupcake with chocolate frosting. What a wonderful surprise. I had forgotten all about that and since this has reminded me of the fun I'm off to bake for the grandkids coming this weekend.

I've had so much fun making these. I've done a bit of experimentation, for example, sometimes I use pudding as a filling. Others I use the Betty Crocker Butter recipe Yellow cake and add chopped strawberries with whipped cream. Definitely a family favorite!

This is my favorite dessert recipe that I have tried so far! I used the trick to cut into the cupcakes with a knife before I put in the filling and it worked perfectly! My boyfriend likes toffee, so instead of mini chocolate chips, I used Heath bar bits! Everyone loved them!

This is the best cupcake recipe I have ever made. I added raspberry jam to the white frosting just to give the inside a little more taste. They turned out great! I would recommend this twist on this great recipe. I used the suggestion about poking a hole in the cupcake with a knife before inserting the plastic bag and it worked perfectly. I don't think you need a special bag or anything a normal plastic one will do just fine. Enjoy!

Wow! That's all I can say about these cupcakes. So simple, yet such a bit hit. What gives it the wow factor is the cream in the center. Everyone was so suprised and happy when they bit into it and saw the creammy inside. My one suggestion would be to add a coupler and wide metal pastry bag tip to the plastic baggie before filling it with the whip cream. This will make injecting the cream into the cupcakes much easier. If you don't have the pastry bag tip, I'd recommend cutting a slit into the middle of the cupcake and then putting in the filling. I found this made it much easier to fill them. Overall, this was an awesome recipe and I will definetly make these again!

These cupcakes look to good to eat. I am going t make them tomorrow and they look very easy, even with the cream filling. Who wouldn't love one of these? Who could stop with just one of these?

The first time I made these I used the plastic bag, but the next time I made them I used a cake decorating bag and tip instead. The cake decorating bag worked so much better.

My son (age 7) and I made these for my husband's birthday. My son loved making them so much, we make them all the time now. They are so simple; I was afraid the plastic bag with the frosting wouldn't insert into the cake; but it worked fine. We try different flavored cake and frostings. We add sprinkles and colored sugar to make them look pretty.

I made these as a Halloween treat and used orange frosting on top! I had no problem with the plastic bag collapsing and everyone wanted to know how I got the frosting inside. Yum!
