This is one of the best cakes I've made. My friend loves pirates, so I decided to try it. Easy to make, lots of fun. She enjoyed the surprise.

Great recipe and easy cake to make. Take your time and let each section cool and freeze well before frosting. My son had this for his pirate birthday party and it was gone quickly! Thanks!

I made this cake for my Dad's B-day which had a pirate theme...he likes pirates and received Pirates of the Caribbean presents. It was easy enough to make once you are able to find the extras. I had a devil of a time finding Fruit by the Foot at my local grocery. But overall, it was fun to make, and even more fun to eat!

Made this cake for my son's Birthday and it really is so easy! He wanted a boy and girl pirate, so I made 2 cakes and adapted one so that it looked more girly. He and all his guests were thrilled with this cake!
