Comments: I didn't care for these... Neither did my guests. They look very cute but do not taste great. |

Comments: Good hit at the office but heck if we could find the right cheese product. I ended up using regular chedder cheese spread, which I'm sure left some flavor to be desired. I was tempted to use a white chedder cheese spread for lumina pumpkins... but will get more creative next time. |

Comments: I've made this recipe twice for our fall party. This year, I used a container of port wine cheddar cheese and made a pumpkin about the size of a baseball. I had fresh basil outside and it made great "leaves." The larger pumpkin was a big hit. We'll be having it for Thanksgiving. Definitely make at least a day or so ahead of time. Serve with crackers and pretzel sticks. |

Comments: These are easy to make if you use the cheese suggested. Definitely make them ahead of time, even the night before your party. The cheese can be overwhelming so make them small! |

Comments: I just made these last weekend, when I had TWO parties to go to. I used velveeta-type cheese, in orange and white cheddar! This worked PERFECTLY. I just rolled it in my palms and used a knife to push the creases.
The white cheese I used to make gourds in the same idea-vein! So I had little pumpkins AND little gourds. I ALSO changed the parsley to Marjoram which TOTALLY looked more like pumpkin vines. I put each pumpkin/gourd on a round thin wheat cracker AND I used cracker STICKS instead of pretzels for the stems. I put crumbled and whole walnuts on the platter too. It took about an hour to make two platters, about 36 pumpkins & gourds. This was the BIGGEST hit I've ever had at parties! |

Comments: Cute idea. I know the comments are a little old but, I would love to know what brand cheese was used since some had luck and some didn't. Would love to try it. |

Comments: I made these and put them in the center of my Thanksgiving cheese platter. What a hit! My husband liked them so much he wouldn't let anyone eat any until everyone had seen them.
Cute (and tasty too). |

Comments: I didn't think these were really hard to make. I bought the cubed cheese in a bag, and hand rolled them, stuck them into the fridge about 15 min. And I made the indentions with a sharp knife instead of toothpicks. I think these will go over well at mom's halloween party, and she'll think I'm so creative, thanks to Betty Crocker! |

Comments: These are so cute. I used a melon baller sized mechanical scoop to scoop out the cheese then placed the balls in the freezer until slightly firm. Then I hand-rolled the balls to smooth them out, then returned to frig until firm again then did the ridges. I served them on a plate with a dish of pretzels. The little pumpkins are the perfect size for using pretzel sticks to scoop up personal servings of cheese spread. I served them on a plate with a dish of pretzel sticks on the side. Darling garnish on a cheese and fruit platter. |

Comments: This recipe was a hit at a Halloween party. The cheese does have to be really firm to put the lines on the sides. It was a little messy; but worth it. I used dried parsley and crushed almonds instead of peanuts. A sharp knife works well to put the lines on the pumpkins. I think next time I will make one giant pumpkin instead. |
