Comments: Oh, I forgot! Yes, I added my spinach and herb seasonings from tastefully simple, fresh ground cracked black peppercorn and sea salt...DELICIOUS! Not so bland when you add a bit of your special seasonings....Enjoy! |

Comments: I made this for my family and it actually turned out really well. I did not have any ham or Betty Crocker "Seasoned Skillets Hashed Brown Potatoes" so I substituted bacon and frozen hash brown potatoes. I also improvised by adding red bell pepper with the green bell pepper, fresh onion in place of dried and cilantro and sea salt. It was really good!! My oldest son is a very picky eater and he even loved it. For those who thought it was a little bland, maybe try adding some of these variations because it came out really well like this. |

Comments: Not too impressed with this one. Tried it this morning. We'll probably still eat the leftovers, but when I make it again, I will modify it. I will try baking it longer cause it was still really runny after 30 min. And the bisquick gave it a funny taste. My husband kept asking what happened to the eggs in it. We could never taste them and it never filled out like a casserole. What's the point of the bisquick anyway? It'll be better next time, modified a bit. But it wasn't the breakfast casserole I was looking for. |

Comments: I haven't found the Betty Crocker "Seasoned Skillets Hashed Brown Potatos" that this recipe calls for. I've looked at different grocery stores. What can I use as a substitute? What about frozen hashed brown potatoes that I thaw? Or, the only other Betty Crocker boxed potatos I can find at the store are the Pototoes Au Gratin. I'm in San Francisco, maybe Betty Crocker isn't all that popular here but I love it. |

Comments: This was okay. I made it for brunch this morning, and even after letting it soak overnight, it was just okay. My todder ate it, my husband ate it, but none of us were thrilled by it.
I used 6(M) eggs and my husband's first comment was that it needed more eggs. It could also use some spice and more flavor...I'll experiment with that next time. |

Comments: This recipe was made for us on a retreat last weekend. The recipe was doubled so our cooking time was off but by the time this came out of the over, it was Mmmmm Mmmm Good! It was even better the next morning reheated.
This is a must try and so easy to make. I plan to make it for my office Monday morning. I thought it would be great as a filler for flour tortilla's. (breakfast taco's)
This gets 5 stars from our gang. |

Comments: This was so yummy! We all love breakfast and this was such an easy way to make it (instead of having 4 skillets buring at the same time). I only used 1 pkg. of hash browns and I think next time I'll add more veggies. |

Comments: Not really bad, just not good. the potatoes didn't cook very well and were partially crunchy and partially soggy. The dough didn't layer very well either. My boyfriend is a fan of any kind of casserole, but this wasn't a hit. Its quite bland. |

Comments: I CANT BELIEVE THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD REVIEWS FOR THIS RECIPE. IT WAS VERY DRY AND I THINK THE SEASONING ON THE HASHBROWNS GAVE IT A STRANGE TASTE. EVERYONE ATE IT BUT ONLY 1 PERSON WANTED SECONDS AND I THINK IT WAS BECAUSE HE WAS JUST HUNGRY OR SOMETHING. |

Comments: The first time I baked this, I went by the recipe. The second time, I spiced it up a bit. I used bulk breakfast sausage, canned green chilis and pepper jack cheese. I also found that both times I've made this dish, I had to bake it about 15 minutes longer than originally stated. |

Comments: I found that the casserole was very good, and even my very picky sister ate it after discarding the peppers. But, we found that it needed to bake longer than the recipe called for. |

Comments: I used the Betty Crocker julienne potatoes. I also added red and green pepper and some fresh diced onion. Before baking I added a little extra milk and it was delicious. Everyone loved it and said it was a favorite egg casserole. Quite a compliment since I have been making different ones for X-mas breakfast the last 25 years. Also added the fiesta blend of cheeses (mexican). |

Comments: I made this for our family that were with us for ThanksGiving~The "8" adults could not get enough of it and said it was the best breakfast bake I had ever made. The taste was wonderful~~~HOWEVER~~our grandson and the other visiting children would have NOTHING to do with it. Kids are into the site of food and to them it did not look. I ended up making them cold cereal & Toast~
I will make it again, but if children are coming I'll remember to keep them in mind, also. |

Comments: Instead of ham I use a beef sausage link cut into small pieces. I usually salt it quite a bit since sausage is less salty than ham. Also just before baking it, I pierce it with a fork and pour in a little more milk. This seems to keep it from being so dry. This is my favorite recipe to take on food day at work and it's always gone by 8:30!!!! Some co-workers use salsa on it. |

Comments: I made this and halved the recipe. I also substituted bacon bits and canadian bacon for the ham. It was good but not flavorful enough for me. I think it would be better with breakfast sausage. I also added additional milk because it appeared that the Bisquick mixture was too dry. My daughter said the whole thing was too dry and I felt the potatoes were not soft enough. I will make again and continue to modify until it tastes right and had a better texture. This is a great cassarole for left-overs. |
