Comments: Where can we see the REAL original recipe? I think it included peanuts, rather than mixed nuts. Why does the pre-made stuff sold in stores not include ANY nuts? I have to add them myself! |

Comments: The Original recipe called for 6 cups of cereal, Butter, Seasoned salt and worstershire sauce, peanuts and pretzels. Baked and stirred every 15 min. Still the best as far as I'm concerned. |

Comments: Instead of butter I use butter flavor margarine. Easier on the cholesterol. My family likes it better without the peanuts, just salty crunchies. Still one of the best treats to be made by grammys and grandchildren together.Supposed to last two weeks, not hardly,we munched as we cooked.Great for New Years eve, too. |

Comments: This is a great recipe but I still think it turns out better made the original way in the oven. It wasn't quite as crisp in the microwave. And I agree with the person that said this wasn't the original chex mix recipe like it claims. The orginal didn't have the bagel chips and had the pretzel sticks. |

Comments: This was a recipe that was handed down 3 generations. We substitute the corn chex for equal amounts of cheerios. It's my grandson favorite item in the mix. He will eat every one if I don't watch him. |

Comments: Still a great recipe but I must point out that this is not the original recipe. Back in the day, and I am that old, there were no bagel chips, garlic or otherwise. There were pretzel rods. |

Comments: the recipe is incomplete you have 1/2- - -under season saltwhats the ingredient? Season salt and worchestershire sauce has loads of salt in it,leave out the salt and add 4 drops hot sauce for more flavor. |
