I'm a big fan of one-dish meals and this recipe will now be added to my list of favorites. It was easy and delicious. Next time I may add some more tomatoes though.

Absolutely delicious! I subbed in rosemary for the dill weed and tripled the garlic, which was more to my liking.

I loved this recipe! I had just moved out on my own and was not familar with much cooking. It didn't take long to make, and was super tasty. I enjoyed it and so did my boyfriend.

This was a wonderful recipe. Very easy to make. I only used half the spinach. I thought 10oz. was to much. We loved it!!!

I'm not a big fan of lamb, but I found this dish to be delicous. Easily one of my favorite meals and so easy and quick to prepare. Great for the whole family. This is a complete meal in itself or it can be served with a salad. Recipe really makes the perfect amount for 4 people.

My grocery store was out of lamb so I used ground veal. My entire family loved it and my picky 3 year old couldn't get enough of it!!

This recipe turned out fantastic for my St. Patricks day dinner that I made for my parents. However - don't think the 30 minute start to completion time is quite accurate. By the time you clean the leek, cut the root off and the leafs at the end then chop the main body, dice the potatoes etc... it was more like 90 minutes. This was even cheating by using tinned diced tomatoes! Which also a 28 fl oz tin by the time you drain it yields a little more than 1 cup of diced tomatoes so I would not get a 14oz tin - you won't have enough. Also don't use OXO cubes for the beef broth, I used a tin of prepared broth which was simple. So, well worth making, 5/5 - but no way in 30 minutes unless you have 3 sous chefs doing the prep. I would start preparing everything 2 hours before meal time and then take your time and everything should be fine. Start cooking it maybe 45 minutes before meal time if you like your potatoes a little on the mushy side rather than crunchy. But overall a great base recipe - next time I think I will throw in some baby carrots as well!

Changed this slightly so my family would eat it. I removed the Dill (in my family it is considered one of GOD's little jokes, He didn't intend we eat it) and doubled the garlic. I should have made a triple batch instead of the double batch. My kids ate it ALL before I got any.

I just made this recipe and loved it!! It was so differently seasoned than than what I would typically put together. The lamb, dill, and bay leaf all made for a very fresh taste to the favortite comfort-food combination of meat & potatoes. Hubby and 13yo daughter liked it very much, too, and asked for seconds. I will definately make this again.
