Comments: Finally got to make it for boyfriend, and he likes it very much. Only said that it needed a pinch of sugar and salt, but other than that would leave it alone. Asked me to make it once every month or so. |

Comments: I loved this recipe. The final product comes out very soupy. We served this with a slotted spoon, and left the broth behind. I especially enjoyed this with the yogurt, the tart flavor complimented the lentils nicely. |

Comments: I thought that this was pretty good, but maybe needs some minor changes. It was very easy, I made it when boyfriend was sick, so it was just me. I think I might add a few fresh peppers to the leftovers and try again tonight (boyfriend still sick with flux) |

Comments: We are meat eaters, but I try to make a vegetarian dish once or twice a week. I have made this recipe for my family several times and it is always a hit. I use curry powder instead of turmeric. It is especially good with jasmine or brown basmati rice. |

Comments: My husband and I have had this several times, we always love it! It is easy to make and tastes wonderful. The only two modifications we make are to add curry powder (more or less to taste) to the initial red pepper, onions, garlic, and ginger, and we also eat it with chutney on top of the yogurt. One other thing, make sure you turn down the lentils after they boil, otherwise they can burst and make it more of a "mush." |

Comments: I wanted to try something new and different. It was! My family actually enjoyed it and would eat it again. |
