These were simple to make and a very quick dessert. You can use most anything for the filling. I even had some apples I wanted to use up so cooked them down a little on top of stove and then used as a filling.

This was a huge hit in my home. My 6 year old daughter helped me make them as a surprise for the men of the house. We used blueberry and strawberry and they were absolutely GONE!!! Easy to make and no mess left other than an empty pan!

This is a delicious quick, fruity dessert. Light and yummy and a good way to get in those daily servings of fruit. I used the emergency meal idea, but the original recipe and added some fruit I had on hand, as well as a few ready in my garden for a mixed fruit bar. I added a handful of rasberries and blueberries, 2 sliced fresh peaches and 2 sliced fresh nectarines and then spread some logenberry preserves on top and baked as directed.

I made these bars with Strawberry reduced sugar preserves and they turned out fantastic! Using reduced sugar preserves made the bars a little less chewy more gooey but they were a big hit at the baby shower I took them to.

Everybody lovese these. My husband tries to eat the whole pan himself. These are good with other jams as well.

My sister made these and I sampled them tonight. Yummy!! Super simple recipe. We aren't big bakers and like things that are fast and easy but big on flavor. These would be great with some vanilla ice cream too. I will be making them for sure. She used the raspberry preserves. Excellent!

Excellent dessert! I suppose you can make this with any flavor of spreadable fruit, jam or preserves. I used a sugar free strawberry "all fruit" and we found it so yummy. We added a scoop of vanilla ice cream to our warm dessert and was in dessert heaven! This is an easy recipe to keep on hand for a quick dessert or to fix when someone stops by and you need something to go with your coffee.

These bars are delicious and moist. I did use a little less jam on my second batch as first was too much. A must have recipe for all occasions!!

I enjoyed these bars a lot. I used fresh raspberries I got with a couple of teaspoons of sugar and blended them in a food processor until chunky. My son helped me measure the sugar out and he accidentally put in too much. Do not over do the sugar!

Very good!!! I didn't have brown sugar at home but white sugar with a tablespoon of maple syrup made a good substitute. So easy and quick, a must have recipe to keep on hand.

I've made this for work birthday breakfasts a couple of times and it's very tasty - - and easy. Although I love raspberry and blackberry, I actually liked this more when I used apricot preserves.

My husband and his softball team loved it! I will definitely make it again, but will sprinkle some powdered sugar on top next time to take away from some of the bite of the raspberry.
