Great & Fun Recipe! I also tried the Reese's Peanut Butter chips. Great hit giving them the chocolate & peanut butter taste! Then I took the melted chocolate chips and drizzled it over the melted peanut butter chips. I these are going to be a regular in our house.

I found that the chips called for were not adequate and use a total of 1 1/2 c of chips and extra shortening also to thin out the coating. Our family likes thicker brownies so if I make them again I would use a smaller pan or use two mixes.

I packaged them like homemade pops and tied them with ribbon. Loved by everyone!! After making them a few times... I make a double batch and keep/hide them in my freezer to take them with me as a last minute dessert. FYI..DON'T use the fudge brownie mix...too soft.

I made these for a 4th of July party and they were such a hit! I called them Brownie sparklers on a stick. I made them with the white chocolate and used the long colorful sprinkles. They looked very festive for the 4th! One person said they should serve these at the State Fair, since you can buy anything on a stick there! For those having trouble keeping them on the stick, I think the trick is to NOT overback them. I had no problem getting them to stay on the stick, but I do agree that keeping the ones you aren't dipping in the freezer is a good idea. Thanks Betty for the great recipe!

The first time I made these were back in 2006 for 120+ 8th graders, and they all loved them. So, come that fall when I had to make something to bring and sell for my Drama Class, these were what I made... and let me tell you, not only did my class (college students) LOVE them, they were the first item to be sold out. They are so simple to make, yet I can make anyone do almost anything for a "Brownie-on-a-stick". They are the most requested item I make. The only thing I do different is that I mix 2 boxes of brownie mix together (for a 13x9 pan), because if I do it any other way they are always too small... I plan on making a large batch of them in a "under the sea" theme in July for Fine Arts Day Camp :)

This is the best and most kid friendly recipe I have found. I took the previous advice and kept the cut brownie pieces in the freezer while dipping. Worked great and looked even better. This was a great project to do with my three year old for his Mom's Day Out class. I had so many great comments, it was the SNACK OF THE YEAR!!!!!

I made these for a girlfriends birthday party. They were very good but didn't come out as nice as the picture. It was harder to dip than I expected and the brownie fell off of the stick. The longer I took the harder it was to dip because the brownie started to defrost. I would definitely prepare a few at a time and leave the rest in the freezer as I make them. My girlfriends said they tasted great though and ate them before dinner. I will definitely make it again.

I made these a few weeks back & will diffinitely make them again with a few changes similar to ones mentioned in earlier reviews. I dipped mine cookie bark but I will try it the with chocolate chips & shortening. I will cut my brownies a little smaller as to make them more secure on the sticks and I will work with only one or two brownies at a time leaving the rest in the fridge or freezer. Good luck!

I love this treat, the kids could not stop eating it. I just made 4 boxes of these for our schools Fun Fair. I didn't dip the brownies in chocolate; instead I spread it with a knife and sprinkled candy on top. I didn't add shortening to the chocolate chips. The coating hardened well and held it all together. Thanks for a great treat idea!!!!!

I made these over the weekend for my little ones and they turned out great. They were very good but didn't come out as nice as the picture and had a little bite of an issue with them breaking apart of the sticks. I would definitely recommend keeping them in the freezer for a bit longer than is recommended. They still tasted great though and will definitely make again.

I love this recipe my kids love them to and so does my husband! I think the unique part of this recipe is that it refers to icecream. But instead of having something cold lets have a brownie pop!

I made these recently for my daughter's birthday party- she's a chocoholic! The kids absolutely loved these, they thought I bought them from a store. They are adorable and tasty, however I have to add that the brownies are a bit hard to work with. They were crumbly when I was cutting them and a couple fell off of the sticks. I think if I was going to make these again I would use a denser brownie recipe.

I made these for my son's class and I was impressed by how well they turned out! A few tricks I learned. I kept the brownies in the freezer for an hour instead of 30 minutes. Then I stuck the popsicle sticks in the brownie until I could see a little of the wood on the other side of the brownie. The brownies did not break as I dipped them, but I kept the rest in the freezer for easier dipping (I use the same method when I make candy). My son enjoyed sprinkling them and the class enjoyed eating them. Thanks for another great recipe!

I made these sweet treats for a work bake sale raising money for Realy for Life. They sold quickly! Kids love anything on a stick so I think that was why they were so popular. I did have a little bit of a hard time with the brownies breaking as I tried to dip them in the chocolate. I think it was because I used smaller sticks then popsicle sticks. I would recommend defintely using the stronger sticks, rather than a smaller candy stick you would find at your local craft store.

I made the Brownie Pops tonight for my nephew's birthday. They sure don't look like the picture. My brownie's are not long like the ones in the picture. If anyone has made these, did yours look like the picture. How did you cut them to make 24 brownies with the dimensions given in recipe? I have no doubt that my nephew and my children will enjoy them but I wish they would have come out like the picture.

I made this for my friends pre-school class. The kids loved them, so did all the teachers. I tried to rush the freezer part of the recipe but don't. The brownies will fall apart when you insert the stick if not frozen. The kids want to know when I am bringing them again. Two thumbs up Betty!
