I made this for Cinco de Mayo yesterday, it was very good. My family loves strawberries, so I was pretty sure it would go over well. Definately top with sliced fresh strawberries, it dresses the servings up. I used the "Master of Mixes" brand drink mix, it is thicker than some of the others, less watery & has more flavor.

This is very moist. Was okay, extra money spent for margarita mix was not worth it. Strawberry jello poke cake is about the same thing.

Loved this! Made it for a margarita themed PartyLite party. Everyone loved it and wanted more and the recipe to take home. I used more lime zest than was called for, and it worked well; however, the next day, the left over pieces had VERY strong flavored topping! :D Would definitely make again!

It was okay. My family liked it, but it was not a favorite. I would not make it again.

This recipe is so easy and tastes good as well. My husband is not a fan of cakes that are very sweet, but loved this because the cool whip topping was just right. I will be sure to make this again.

Very, very good. Very simple, and is perfect for summertime. The Cool Whip in lieu of icing gives it a very light feel ... delicious! Everyone loved it!

This recipe was easy and delicious. The only hard part was keeping my husband away from it.

Not bad. WARNING! When you add the grated lime peel to the cool whip make sure you don't let any lime juice get in to the cool whip. It does something weird to the cool whip, makes it really stiff and no longer fluffy, almost curdled.

So Yummy! Made this when we had a few people over for Cinco de Mayo and the entire thing got eaten. It was a really easy recipe and was a very moist cake with a great Strawberry taste.

This was great! I followed the mixing directions and baked my cake in a microwaveable round dish in the microwave, on high for 10 minutes and it was done. Cooled it for 5 minutes. Turned it upside down on a plate. Frosted it the next morning when the cake was cool. Served it at work with strawberries.
