Comments: These are perfect for a party and awesome when eaten right away. The cones get stale and cardboard-like when not eaten within a day or so. |

Comments: I Love making these, everyone loves them and can not believe that they are ice cream cones. One time I put chucks of chocolate candy in the bottom and it was like a surprise! Other wise I put chocolate chips in the cake mix. When I go to transport I get egg cartons and cut out the bottoms to fit the cones so they do not move, and put in a lid from a box that will fit and they are perfect. |

Comments: I made these cupcakes for my son's 9th birthday party. I used 24 cones, stood them up right in muffin pans and filled them up leaving about an inch from the top. I had no problem with them falling over in the oven or burning the cone. I set my oven at 325 degrees and timed them for 10 min. the toothpick came out clean. I was worried they may not be done at the bottom but they where. They turned out beautiful! To transport them I let them cool and then flipped them over in the muffin pan. We used icing in the aerosol can's and topped them with sprinkles and gummy worms. The caked was kind of dry towards the bottom of the cone so next time I will put pudding in the mix. |

Comments: These cupcakes are the best to take to a gathering of children, especially if it involves younger children. I bake them as a treat for my Sunday School Class of two, three, and four year olds. They are not a messy as regular cupcakes baked in paper cups. When bakeing I use a mini muffin pan. The cones stand up better in the pan and usually do not fall over when putting them in the oven. |

Comments: I have been making cupcakes like these for many years, when my kids were in grade school.they are all adults now with kids of their own. I take a low sided pop box, cut holes in it, just big enough for the cone bottoms to fit in and with the box bottom up, insert the cones and fill. This way they do not tip over and are easy to transport to school or where ever, plus the kids all loved them becausr they were different than the others. Ed Beyer |

Comments: I remembered my mom made these when I was a kid and loved them so I made them for my daughters 6th birthday. She loved them too. We were having the party at a kids gym place and I needed to transport them safely. I took a cereal box and cut X's into it in rows to make a dozen holes that the cones would fit in. Then I gift wrapped it in sparkly paper and placed the cupcake cones in them. It was great. We could carry it out with candles and sing happy birthday just like it was a cake. What fun. When baking I placed heavy tin foil over my bundt pan and poked holes in it then placed the cones in so they'd stand up during cooking. It worked great! |
