Just pulled these out of the oven. I was reluctant to try this recipe and didn't expect much. I changed the ham and cheddar to roast beef/smoked turkey and shredded colby/jack. They're delicious. Half a cup of cheese on top is a little much. 1/4 cup would be enough. I added a tablespoon of dill weed to the batter. You might increase the original Bisquick requirements to 2 1/2 cups and the milk by 1/4 cup... just to help cover the top of the casserole. Not very pretty (read elegant), but perfect for a comfort food meal or for children.

I made these for my grandaughters first birthday cause her theme was butterflies and flowers. They went really fast..next time will make a triple batch!

Pretty good stuff. I substituted turkey for the ham and it was pretty good. I'm going to even give sausage a shot and make this into a breakfast, maybe with a little country gravy as a dipping sauce.

This was a great easy fix. Try varying the ingredients with different deli meats and cheeses.

My family, myself included, HATED this recipe. It made me rethink every other recipe I put in my recipe box that had a bisquick base.

I didn't believe that my kids would really like this, but they did! My 5 year old said dinner was delicious!!!! It was so easy to make too! I served it with the Black Beans and Ham recipe for me and my husband (although we enjoyed the sandwiches too). Great way to use up leftover ham.
