Everyone in my family enjoyed this quick and easy meal... The baby ate the remainder of the leftovers, and my husband said, it truly tasted like a southern, downhome, Mom and Pop restaurants recipe!

My husband insists I make this every other week - he LOVES it! Even my teenaged daughter likes it, and she's a picky eater. I serve it with a salad on the side - quick, simple, and filling.

This is so easy to make and my husband and son love it! I was surprised that he loved it because he usually has to have his sloppy joes on buns. Great and easy recipe!

My kids and husband loved this dish and everyone had seconds. I loved that this is a quick and expensive meal. I doubled the hamburger and made it with corn bread on top. I can't wait to take it to my next potluck meal. I'm sure it will be a hit!

when i made this it came out soggy. yuck! who wants soggy bread? i suggest just useing enough sauce to wet the meat. mine had too much sauce and the crust turned out soggy and i threw most of it away. i suggest cooking the sloppy joe seperate and maybe making a batch of cornbread seperate and then pour the sloppy joe over the corn bread.

This is a great recipe. I use my own sloppy joe recipe then put the bisquick topping on it. It is quick and easy; everyone loves it.

Tastes great and easy to make. I, like some others, added a green bell pepper to recipe and it was delicious! I transferred mine from the stove-top skillet to an 8 x 8 glass dish and just doubled the Bisquick and it was perfect. My husband (who is the chef in our family) raved about this dish and he's hard to please!! Will definitely make again....

I added corn to the recipe and it was like having a complete meal in one pan! Use it with ground turkey and the fat content drops.

A nice fall/winter meal that's quick and satisfying. I don't have an ovenproof skillet, so I put the cooked meat and sloppy joe sauce into a square baking pan before adding the cheese and other ingredients. The leftovers are GREAT!

I used a can of chicken gumbo soup, cup of ketchup, TBS of mustard,1/2 green pepper instead of the original sloppy joe sauce and left the cheese out. Very good.

One thing that I did to "extend" the recipe was to add a 16oz. bag of frozen whole kernel corn. Naturally, I had to increase the amt. of ingredients, but, it was fantastic.
