Before the summer ends and my terrace herb garden withers, I harvested handsful of thyme, sage, basil, rosemary and oregano to make this luscious bread just as the recipe reads. It was a HUGE success and I wouldn't change a thing. This will become a staple in my bread baking repertoire. Thank you for sharing.

I've made this twice, but won't make it again. I'm not sure what I don't like about the flavor, but something just isn't right with the combinations or proportions of the herbs. I thought about tinkering a bit, but I'm just going to move on and find another recipe.

This recipe is wonderful! I made it for thanksgiving. So I wanted it to look better than a bread machine loaf. So at the final rising on the machine I took it out and raised it in a regular bread pan for 50 minutes. I baked it at 350 for 30-40 minutes. the outer crust was brown, but not to crunchy like I always get with the bread machine. What a wonderful addition to our holiday meal! I can see how this would make very good rolls too.

Great recipe. So easy. I just put everything(in order)in my Betty Crocker Bread Machine. I only had dried herbs at the time, they worked fine. I always crush them in my hands first. Smells so good when it is cooking. My family loved it,they want more.

This makes a delicious loaf of bread. I used 1 tablespoon each of the sage, basil, oregano and thyme and omited the parsely. It makes a rich and aromatic loaf of bread that is good fresh or toasted. We grilled slices on the bbq grill and used them for hamburgars and it was delicious. We also tried them for grilled cheese sandwiches and that was quite tasty as well.

I made this bread to go with a roasted garlic bulb. Fabulous, the two were made for each other.
