I love this bread! I add a bit more cinnamon and nearly a full cup of raisins as this is how I prefer it. It's the only recipe I use and makes perfect raisin bread toast...YUMMY!!!

I added 1/2 an apple at the same time I added the raisins....just for a little extra flavor.

this has never failed using 2 different makes of bread machines. i have also subbed with 1 cup of whole wheat flour and 2 cups white bread flour. its my most reliable recipe. my breadmaker likes 2 1/4 tsp yeast. delicious and moist.

I have made this recipe twice now and it turned out perfect both times. My husband loves it toasted then buttered and springled with cinnamon/sugar. YUM! This recipe has the perfect amount of raisins, cinnamon...just all around great!
