This is the best recipe ever. I have made this cheesecake many times and always have requests for more. I have made a few modifications. I only use 1 cup of sugar instead of the 1 3/4 cup. For a special treat, I add a 4 oz bar of Ghirardelli 60% cacao and 4oz of 100% cacao melted for a great chocolate flavor. I also use 1 package of chocolate graham crackers rolled into crumbs for the crust with only the 1/4 cup butter! Tastes great. Top with fruit or eat plain either way you have a great dessert. The recipe says not to refrigerate longer than 48 hours. Mine never seems to last that long!!!

This cheesecake looked perfect! But was only alright tasting, it was no where near as delightful tasting as the Heavenly cheesecake recipe. This one did not have near the flavor, it was very blah for a cheesecake. My family and I thought this one was very disappointing.

Really an easy recipe to follow and wonderful to eat! I supervised two twelve year old girls making this recipe and both cheesecakes were very very tasty. Of note, the recipe calls for a 9 inch pan. I only had an 8 1/2 inch and a 9 1/2 inch pans. The cheesecake made in the 9 1/2 inch pan turned out beautifully with no cracks. The one in the 8 1/2 inch pan did crack and darken considerably more than the other. Also, the need to change oven temparatures at varying times and shifting the cheesecake from the oven to room air to the refrigerator was quite a marathon. But well worth it!

This is the first cheesecake I've ever made, and I'm amazed! It's not at all as difficult as I thought it would be (the recipe instructions are excellent and exact) and it tastes fantastic! I might almost never buy cheesecake again. One warning though if you're in a couple household without children - best only make it when you have friends around, because it is quite a lot of cheesecake for just two people!

I'm getting into baking desserts lately. My co-workers absolutely love this recipe. When I take it out for lunch time, it last maybe last 10 minutes on the counter. My Betty crocker cheesecake can compete with other restaurants.

Tried the recipe, and the whole family loved it. No complaints. This cheesecake was super easy to make, and very much worth the little bit of effort that it took!

I found that removing the cake before it's cool lessens the height of the cake. Easy to make and great to eat.

This was a great cheesecake recipe. Made a nice tall cheesecake that was very creamy. I wasn't crazy about the crust, maybe I would use less of that next time.

I made this especially for my husband and he loved it. Personally I thought that it was on the rich side. Probably because I'm not use to REAL cheesecake. I think next time I'll try the lighter version. Thanks Betty Crocker!!!

This New York Cheesecake was the best one that I have ever eaten! I have had many slices of cheeesecake in my life, but none were ever as good as this one. Thanks Betty Crocker for giving me a great recipe to use from now-on. The taste was very creamy and light and sweet- -perfect!
