OMG!!! This by far is the very best lasagna i've ever had. No more frozen lasagna for us. I've already made it four times, my hubby loves it! Everytime I make it he eats half of the pan in one sit down and would probably eat it every day of the week if there were any leftovers.

This lasanga was great. It was a good starting point for me; I added a lot to this one. I used ground itialian venison for the meat. I added mushrooms, green peppers, and chopped pepperoni to the tomatoe sauce (and meat). I added spinach to the ricotta mixture. I pretty much doubled the meat, tomatos (and sauce) and cheese. I had a very small amount of left overs to make a very small pan which I vacuume sealed and froze for a later date. Everyone loved it and were suprised on how full they were after eating one piece.

I have been using this recipe for years. Of course over the years I have added to my recipe. Mine has approx 3-4 pounds of cheeses. I also add a pound of hamburger to my italian sausage lasagna. Another thing I do is do half ricotta and half cottage cheese. Otherwise the rest is pretty much the same. I am always BEGGED to make my lasagna. I love it and it is always a big hit.

My husband LOVED this the first time I made it, I'm making it again tonight and also bringing it to a friend who just had a baby. Even my 3 year old son ate it up! I would just say to buy more sauce and cheese, I ran through those quickly but did make it work. Also I used spaghetti sauce instead of making the sauce and that saved 45 minutes. Very good, you will enjoy it!

Very good, I wouldn't change a thing! In a pinch for time, you could sub a jar of spaghetti sauce...

This is the BEST lasagna I have ever tasted much less made. It is so delicious and easy to make that I refuse to try any other recipe. I do think the sauce needs to be stretched or doubled to make it less dry but other than that it is PERFECTION!!! Make it yourself and you will see. Thanks, Laura

good resipe, but if your thinking about making it, I suggest making 1 1/2 times the cheese and 1 1/2 times the sauce. All spices are fine. Needs more meat and cheese.

Excellent recipe. This is the first time I have ever made lasagna and it is so easy. I substituted the Italian Sausage for Pork Sausage and I added more garlic. Very good!

I think this recipe is absolutely wonderful...really simple steps, it's pretty hard to mess this meal up. It seems more complicated than what it really is. I used cottage cheese instead of ricotta, but it turned out wonderful. Serve this with some garlic bread and a ceasar salad with some wine and you have yourself a perfect "uncomplicated" romantic dinner!!!

This is a great recipe. I double the sauce since the first time I made it we felt it was a little dry. This has quickly become a family favorite. Everyone who eats it absolutley loves it.

The lasagna was delicious. My husband and 2 yr loved it. I used the lowfat ricotta cheese and lean ground pork meat for a healthier version. I cooked 1/2 the lasagna and froze the other 1/2.

I enjoy lasagna period. With this recipe I used the cottage cheese (32 oz) and just had enough. It may be me, but I can never get enough layers. I got 2 noodle layers and not enough room for a 3rd noodle layer. Se la vi, but the lasagna's great.

Each fall I host a dinner for a crowd of 15-20 ladies from my church. This year I used this recipe. I quadrupled the sauce recipe (to make sure there was enough - after looking at previous reviews)and made a sheet cake sized pan of lasagna. It turned out specular and everyone raved about the lasagna. Thanks for a great recipe!
