Comments: SIMPLY DELICIOUS! The left overs (if you have any) make a great roast beef sandwich with caramelized onions or like other members suggestion and french onion soup! DELICIOUS! My husband said that this is the best roast I have ever made. |

I invited friends over who loves my cooking and they could not stop raving and begged for the recipe. There was no real meat left so what I did with the left over aujus and onions I added some cab sav and made french onion soup and it was delish!!! Way to go Betty Crocker!!! |

Comments: This recipe was excellent! We used yellow onions & will try vidalia next time. We had about a 3.15 lb. round roast and it cooked in about 8 hrs. There was just 1 slice of meat left!
The next day I put it back in a pot and I added the rest of the carton of beef broth & another splash of soy sauce. Then I shredded the last slice of beef & put it in. This was an excellent french-onion style soup! |

Comments: My wife was sick so she sent me out to food shop with a list. I was in Barnes & Noble and was reading the slow cooker recipe book. I decided since she was sick to make this for dinner the following night. I don't usually cook and this scared her. I prepped "everything" the night before. Before work, I put it in the cooker.
KIDS LOVED IT, smelled awesome, so tender the meat just fell apart. NO left overs!! I only used 4 onions and cooked nearly 10 hrs on low. Will make again, and I'm looking for more recipes, Jambalaya might be next.
Try it you won't be sorry!!!! |

Comments: the roast got rave reviews by my family! But we didn't like the carrots that I cooked with it, but the meal with potatoes and rice was over all amazing eventhough my family hates onions! There was nothing left after I cooked this (except for the carrots!) try it and make sure to use the beer, it really adds flavor. |

Comments: This was truly the tastiest pot roast I have ever had! I usually douse my roast ketchup out because it usually is dry. I didn't even use ketchup the second day. It was moist and very flavorful. |

Comments: the picture does NOT do this roast justice!!! We could not even slice the roast like is done in the picture as it was so tender and falling apart. OUr crock pot was actually too small for all of the onions and meat, etc. We only used 3 onions and actually the fat cooked over, dripping down the sides since the crock pot was so small. This turned out to be a good thing as our left overs were pure meat and "juice", no fatty skim on the top. I love this and will make it again! |

Comments: This was my first pot roast I have ever made and it was awesome. I did everything the recipe says and the meat was so tender and good I almost could not believe I did this. When my mom comes into town next month I will definitely make this for her. Next time I'll try adding potatoes and carrots. |

Comments: I do NOT like Pot Roast so when my family requested I make it I was less than thrilled. Instead of being selfish and not making the meal I went searching for a recipe different from the traditional Pot Roast. Am I glad I did! This is an OUTSTANDING meal! I make it at least every other week. I add carrots to mine and the juices marinate them nicely. YUMMY!!! |

Comments: This one is a keeper. I made it with 1 large red onion, 1 cup of beer (you can't leave it out!!) and probably a little more brown sugar. After most of the meat is gone; it also makes an awesome french onion soup with a slice of french bread and melted cheese on top and bits and pieces of meat underneath the bread! |

Comments: I halved the onion amount and added carrots and potatoes to this dish. It was a hit- -next time I think I'd half the dijon mustard as well. It was a bit overwhelming. A great recipe for a cold Sunday! |
