This is really good. The whole family loved it. I did (accidentally) add more brown sugar than the recipe called for so I also added a little extra bbq sauce to compensate for that. The family loved it so much that I had very little leftovers and my 17 yr. old, the pickest eater in the house said that it should get the best rating possible. This is a rarity for him!!

I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great! Had enough for leftovers the next day. A major hit at my house!

I made this recipe planning on leftovers, but the meat had shrunk so much that it wasn't possible. Next time I will use 4 lbs. instead of 3. I, also, had trouble slicing the meat, so next time I will follow some of the suggestions and shred it instead. Otherwise, I thought it was very good!

This was delicious. My entire family of five liked it. That says alot concidering my 10 year old is so picky. The meat just fell apart. I would definately make this again. I get alot of use out of my crock pot with sports and work, and I'm always looking for new recipes.

The meat fell apart, so I couldn't slice it as directed. The flavor was so-so at best. I think I could have put that $10 piece of Chuck to better use!

We use venison instead of beef, but it is one of my husbands favorites. Very quick and easy to get going in the slow cooker before you head out for the day!!

I tried this over the weekend just from memory. I forgot the bell pepper, and added a can of beer from another recipe. I also browned the meat and 2 whole sliced onions before adding to the pot. Mine had a thinner sauce, but tasted marvelous. The extra onions really made the leftovers great, which I served over rice. I'll probably try this again by the real recipe. Very "non-cook" friendly dish, as even mistakes turn out great with the hearty basics this offers.

I used pork loin instead of beef and it turned out great with a few changes. I omitted green peppers (nobody in my family likes them) and after shredding the meat, I added more barbeque sauce and perserves to intensify the flavor. Everybody loved it.

The beef was incredibly tender and was so flavorful! I skipped the peppers, but added more sliced onions and salt and peppered the beef before adding it in the slow cooker. I had to remove the juice since it was very watery and thickened it over the stove and added it back it - this made a better sauce for the beef. This was such an easy recipe and my apartment-mates all loved the aroma of barbeque. Will make this again for sure!

Unlike the photo, the beef will not slice in uniform pieces but is fork tender and shreds (which we actually prefer). If you are looking for uniform slices of beef, this is not the dish for you. In addition we were very disappointed in the lack of taste in this dish, despite the ingredients. Not a bad recipe per se, just not for us.

I just finished cooking the slow cooker Barecue Beef. This was so, so good. I feel you need to follow the receipe leaving none of the ingredients out. This recipe is very easy and cooks itself. All of us want this again. I plan on cooking some more beef this weekend. I now plan on trying some more of your receipes.

This was very good and extremely easy. The meat just fell apart when it was done, which is great for us. I didn't have to slice it! Served with mozzarella cheese on top. I made no changes.

My family and friends rated this a hit. It was easy to make and tastes really great. The only criticism is the recipe calls for slicing the meat. I wasn't able to since the meat was falling apart. My family likes it shredded anyway.

This was the easiest dinner! My husband and son loved it! I had planned to get 2 nights' meals from this, but they went back for seconds and I had to cook again the next night! It didn't go nearly as far as the "yield" suggested. I guess the writers didn't anticipate hungry men!

Very very good. My family gave it 2 thumbs up. I plan to serve the leftovers on biscuits with mashed potatoes as a side.
