These are very good and very easy to make. I increased the sugar by at least a tablespoon, which I feel made them even better. How can you go wrong with chocolate?

This is amazing. I tweaked the recipe a bit and it turned out fabulous. I used Healthy Heart Bisquick, added dried cherries and dark chocolate chips, used Splenda instead of sugar, and used light cream. I baked the scones at 400 degrees for 12 minutes and they turned out perfectly. I'm eating one right now with hot chocolate and I'm so thrilled with this delicious recipe. I will definitely be making it again.

Loved this recipe! These were the quickest and yummiest scones I've ever had! I used mini-chocolate chips instead and also used the lowfat/heart healthy biquick instead of the regular to further reduce the calories. Can't wait to make this recipe again!

Simple recipe and easy to vary. I like to substitute dried berries for chocolate chips, or serve chocolate chip ones with raspberry-margarine. The raspberry-margarine is easy- -just whip raspberry jam with margarine or butter in equal portions. Makes a great Sunday School breakfast treat!

My favorite variation on this scone is white chocolate chip cranberry. You haven't lived until you've tried it!

I had never made anything like this before, and it is such an easy recipe that the kids help me make it. It's also good with 1/4 cup of pecans.

These chocolate chip scones are great. I made mine with mini chocolate chips and added toasted slivered almonds for Valentines Day and cut them with a large heart-shaped cookie cutter ! Everybody LOVED THEM ! I have made them just like the recipe, then I have added the toasted almonds & mini chips and they are great either way ! They are a MUST TRY with a cup of hot coffee on a fall day !Enjoy everybody !
