Comments: The recipe should DEFINITELY call for MORE flour. This was one of the stickiest doughs, yet tastiest, I have ever dealt with. After chilling for 5 hours, I still could NOT cut the cookies, so I ended up just throwing all the dough into a bowl and balling it up. I added more sugar to the bottom of a glass and flattened them. They TASTE GREAT!! I wish luck to those who try to make them. |

Comments: I made these cookies with a vegan egg replacer, so my final product was probably a little different then regular, but, i agree with many of you that they came out more oval and I couldn't really see the spirals. Very yummy, not just classic sugar cookies. I thought they could take a little longer than eight minutes though, and the log was very hard to cut. But, they were DELICIOUS so it's worth it to make these cookies. **Festive too =D |

Comments: Instead of using the colored sugar I used Jello. I also do this when I make sugar cookies, it's not only pretty, you can change up the flavor to whatever you want it to be. |

Comments: Yummy! Made Fourth of July the tastiest. Easy to make, I used the vanilla option. Everyone who tried them loved them. Will make again. |

Comments: We loved the taste of these cookies, and they were easy to make. I sliced enough for one cookie sheet, then popped the dough in the freezer for a couple of minutes - it helped to keep the cookies round when slicing the next batch. |

Comments: I made these cookies for Christmas. I used green and red sprinkles and they were very popular and attractive. I will make them for any holiday just changing the colors. Very easy recipe and tasty. |

Comments: I have a love/hate relationship with this recipe. On one hand, the flavor was absolutely fantastic. Haven't tasted anything quite like them. On the other hand, however, I'll agree with what a couple of others have said, the dough was way too sticky and limp and I had a heck of a time cutting it into 'rounds'. When I cut into the rolls, the dough completely flattened out. So I had to reshape the cookies once I got them on the cookie sheet. So next time (and there WILL be a next time because they tasted so yummy and didn't last long in my house) I'll use more dough to make it stiffer and easier to handle. So I give this one 4 stars for flavor alone, despite how hard the dough was to handle. But that can easily be fixed by using more flour next time! |

Comments: This recipe wasn't very good at all. These cookies were very heavy and didn't have much of a flavour at all. They came out oval shaped and the swirls didn't show up much at all. It was just a bunch of scattered coloured dots. There was nothing to these cookies. I would NOT recommend making them at all. I will never make them again, not going to make that mistake again. |

Comments: Mine sort of resembeled the picture, but oval. I must have cut mine too thick becaues I didn't get the full yield, but that is not unusual for me! I never get the correct yield. And the size would explain why it took longer for mine to bake. I havent tasted the baked cookie yet, but they smell terriffic! (I am baking them now) But the dough tasted good, lol, Happy 4th!! |

Comments: I found the recipe was very easy to make but I should have added more flour as the dough was very hard to roll up. It stuck terribly to the plastic. I, too, found they did not resemble the nice colorful picture. |

Comments: These cookies were out of the oven and eaten so fast! I'm in Arizona and the dough was pretty soft so the swirls weren't definate, but they were still tasty. I will chill the dough before rolling next time. |

Comments: These cookies are amazingly tasty and easy to make, but mine did not turn out at all like the picture. They were festive, but I think the dough needed to be rolled out thicker as the swirl was not obvious at all. Easy recipe though! |
