I made these tonight and loved them. Even my husband (who doesn't like sweets) went back for seconds. I forgot to put the pouch of chocolate syrup in the brownie mix, so I drizzled it on the top of the mixture before I baked the brownies. I didn't add the frosting and was glad I didn't. I think it would have been too rich. I also added pecans to the brownie mix. Love nuts in my brownies!

I have made these over and over again, they are awesome. I add more chips to the batters and walnuts too. Try adding peanut-butter chips they are so good too. I some times make them with my homemade chocolate frosting on special occasions, but they really don't need it. They are requested all the time. Easy to make.

A little bit of heaven. They are very, very rich. I made a quick ganache (milk chocolate + cream) for the topping instead of the frosting. My whole family gobbled them up as well as the group of 9-11 year old girls I made them for. Cut them as directed, any bigger and they are too rich to finish.

I was expecting the world since all the reviews were fabulous. Just okay in my book as we are big on sweets. Sorry to say but we won't make again with so many other recipes out there. Rats!

This brownies are so great...I read the recipe and decided to make a batch for my daughters family, after cooling them on the rack my husband and I decided to try them, well we finished about half the pan, now I have to make more for our grandchildren! I didn't frost them and they were perfect..I think I'll try them warm from the over with some vanilla ice cream.

WOW! These brownies were the bomb! I am a self-proclaimed chocoholic, & one of my biggest weaknesses is oven-baked chocolate chip cookies. This recipe was right up my alley. I followed the recipe exactly, & it was very simple. I made them for a 4th of July party, & everybody raved at how good they were. Only one complaint about the frosting. I will definitely make them again.

These brownies are soooooo YUMMY!!! After trying one with the frosting, I decided to leave it off the rest because it made them a little too rich for my taste. They were definitely a hit in my house!

I first tried these with a peanut butter cookie mix - yum. Next I tried this recipe with the choc chip cookie mix. Not so good. Blah, needs frosting or something. I'm going back to making this with the peanut butter cookie mix, much much tastier!!

These are SOOOO good! I made them just as the recipe stated, though I did use a different brownie mix (used the one I had in the pantry). They were wonderful! My husband said they were addictive, and the ladies who sampled them all wanted the recipe. A definite keeper!!

I made these for hubby first and knowing we would not eat all of it, I took some to work and church, and everyone that ate them, really liked them! I've been asked to make them for a friends birthday! I will definitely be making these again!

What a wonderful alternative to plain brownies! Like another, we used peanut butter cookie dough and enjoyed the two tastes very much. We thought they were plenty sweet without frosting.

Tried this with the peanut butter cookie mix - minus the icing. Took it to a work potluck & everyone liked them & asked for the recipe. It was sweet enough without the icing. I used a brownie mix that was on sale & not the kind with the chocolate syrup. It was still good. Think the next time I make this I'd use a double chocolate chocolate chip cookie mix to make it extra chocolate-ly. I didn't read the directions closely enough & followed the recipe on the brownie box, so I think they were a little bit moister than they should have been, but still great!

These are terrific. I didn't change a thing except I only baked them 30 minutes. I think any longer and they would have been dry. When I try them again I may add a few chopped walnuts to the brownie part.

So easy and sooo yummy - big hit with my grandsons - i did leave off the frosting, though so it was easier to store. i forgot about the chocolate sauce that was in the box of brownie mix so as an after thought, just drizzled it over the top of the mix before baking.

nothing short of AMAZING! I read the reviews and saw that some people thought that the rich & creamy icing was alittle much, so I decided to use betty crocker's whips (milk chocolate) icing and they were delicious! especially warm from the oven.. as another user wrote, "to die for"! keep these wonderful recipes coming!
