I made this dish and I agree it needs garlic, sausage or chicken would be a great add in.I also think some mascoponie cheese would be good!

We really enjoyed this dish. I used spinach linguine and added several cloves of garlic to the melted butter. It is a little plain, but I wouldn't call it bland. The cheese and tomato flavors really came through. Thanks!

We enjoyed this dish. I thought the sauce was too thick and sticky but husband loved it that way. He wants to know how soon we can have this again. Next time I will add more butter, pasta water or olive oil to thin the sauce so it's more creamy. Garlic is a must next time too!

Very attractive and fresh but this recipe is much too bland for our family. Needs some work. Thanks for sharing it anyway.

Easy and delicious. I used regular pasta instead of the refigerated. Needs salt and/or garlic. Also, I added more parmesean cheese. Very good.

I just made this dish for lunch and loved it! I added chicken to it, but to be honest it didn't need it. The only thing it really needed was some salt and garlic. The flavors worked wonderfully together! I will def. be making this again!

In the lame town I live in I could not find refrigerated fettuccine, which I used regularly in Dallas a few months ago. So I used a 7oz vermicelli because I had it on hand, knowing that it was a very thin pasta as opposed to a thicker strand. I used two Roma Tomatoes instead of one large, and seeded it first. Followed the recipe other than that and it was still really good. Husband liked it and he's picky, son liked it without adding the tomatoes and basil -- just plain. I liked it too with tomatoes and basil even though I'm not a raw tomato fan. It was like having bruchetta with pasta instead of bread. Very fresh tasting. I had a thinner pasta and less ounces than called for, and there was a little too much sauce so I think with the right pasta it would be just right. I might add a little olive oil to smooth the sauce a little next time.

For those of you who like more flavor, just ADD SOME GARLIC. I prefer fresh chopped garlic but a sprinkle of garlic powder in the ricotta mixture should jazz it up.

This turned out to be a great dinner for myself and my husband. I made it a bit healthier by using Olivieri whole wheat pasta and low fat Ricotta. It was made a bit tastier by using ravioli with broccoli as the pasta, a bit of spices and salsa instead of the chopped tomato. I had seared scallops on the side and he had chicken (I don't eat chicken and he doesn't like seafood).

I don't know how this got such great ratings. Sorry, but something was missing. The taste was boring and bland. I will not be making this ever again.

This really turned out better than I thought! I added salad shrimp and a little olive oil to keep it all from sticking and it was very good. My husband prefers "saucy" pasta dishes but surprisingly he really liked this one. If you are lucky enough to have leftovers, try drizzling a little olive oil over it before reheating.

This was good, very good but wouldn't it be just as good with less fat? How can I do that and keep the excellet taste?
