How can you grade this recipe if you spoil it by adding all kinds of ingredients not on the list? Also, how can you grade a recipe if you haven't even TRIED it? Come on folks...give the rest of us a break! P.S. This is a great recipe! Thanks for sharing.

This is very bland(sugar does not help)I cooked it for 1 1/2hrs and it still was not done completly. This taste like eggs with a little bite of corn. Cut recipe in half for 4-6 people.

Made this for Christmas dinner. Everyone liked it but I think we all kind of expected the traditional pudding. Still looking for a great receipe for that but this corn pudding was a hit and quite different with the cheese

This was awesome! I tried it out for a holiday potluck and everyone loved it. I ended up emailing the receipe to everyone at the event. I switched it up a little with a corn, pepper and black bean frozen combo and added extra cheese and a small can of diced green chilis to it. It was wonderful!

With a small family, I made half the recipe. I used mostly heavy cream (to use it up mostly), two 11oz. cans of shoepeg corn and a bit of extra cheese. I didn't reduce the milk mixture since I used cream and baked it for 65 minutes. My mother wants me to make this again. It was easy to fix. Cleaning up was fast.

The recipe was good, however I added sugar as I found it to be too bland without it. Will definitely make it again.

This recipe is not the scalloped corn my grandmother makes. I use 3 creamed corn ,2 whole corn ,8 - 10 soda crackers ,1/2 cup mozz cheese, 2 eggs ,small amount of butter and milk , salt and pepper to taste

I wanted to try something different than the one I always make but this was too eggy & cheesy for me. I use can of corn, can of creamed corn, box of corn muffin mix, 2 eggs, stick of soft butter, cup of sour cream, bake 35-40 mins @ 350 in casserole dish. S & P to taste. Have made this hundreds of times with always an empty dish leftover & lots of compliments.

My mom has been making a recipe similiar to this for over 50 years. Try using plain crackers(her favorite) or stonewheat crackers(my fav) instead of bread crumbs. Also, use a cake-type pan that is larger then casserole dish, add about i inch of water. Then place casserole dish in water and cook as directed. The "steaming" helps cook the middle better.

My wife loved this dish. Me, not so much. I started preparing this recipe before the realization that I did not have a Dutch Oven and substituted it with a 2 quart casserole dish, but it was too small. Came out soupy after the recommended cooking time, so i stirred it up, re crusted it and baked it for another half an hour. I never tasted corn casserole before, so for me it was just OK. My wife, who loves corn casserole loved it.

This recipe is ok. Not the best, but not bad. I appreciated everyone's suggestions of using Italian breadcrumbs and more cheese-that seemed to add more flavor. But it was still a mediocre dish.

This is a great and easy corn pudding recipe. There are only a few things to make it a little more "zippy" - add a really good extra sharp cheddar, use italian bread crumbs with a little parmesan mixed in. Other than that - this recipe is a perfect accompaniment to any dish (or even left overs for lunch yum!)

I made this as a side dish for a mexican dinner. I added a small can of diced green chilies and used cilantro instead parsley. It was the hit of the dinner.

This was very good. Every time I rewarmed the leftovers though I added some cheese. The next time I make it, I would add more cheese to begin with.

I'm only 22 years old and I like to experiment with new dishes. The first time I made it, the 1/2 cup of flour was not nearly enough to thicken with the milk like it was suppose to. I had to add ATLEAST another 1/2 cup to get it to thicken. I also used more cheese because my family happens to love cheesy dishes. It did turn out to look more like a quiche like a previous review but In the end it still turned out great and my family asks me to make again every chance they get. I'm making it again tonight!!

This is a great recipe, I used Italian bread crumbs which added more flavor. The only thing I would change next time is to add a little more cheese. But it was great!
