350 Degrees is one HOT cooking show that knows how to bring the heat. It’s got three contestants, three rounds, three judges and one host – Martin Cole.

Filmed in the famous Betty Crocker Kitchens, 350 Degrees is a baking competition in which contestants are awarded degrees (or points) for their various baking skills. Who ever gets the closest to 350 degrees after three rounds wins the $2,500 grand prize.

Sounds easy! But it’s not quite that simple; with each challenge there is an unusual and unforeseen twist. Contestants must rely on their creativity, adaptability and overall prowess in the kitchen to develop dishes that will impress the judges.

350 Degrees is heating up, are you ready?

Challenge 1: Flying by the Seat of Your Pants
Baking Betty Crocker brownies is delicious – but not in this case!
Contestants are given the task of creating a unique pan of brownies to serve 12 friends at an impromptu BBQ. They have access to special ingredients, but not the directions or the recipe. They've been blacked out. Now that's a challenge!

Challenge 2: You Made It, You Eat It
This isn’t the cooking show you thought it was!
Contestants are given Betty Crocker Cookie Mix and instructed to make anything they want – except cookies. To add to the fun, they must incorporate an unusual item. Things go well until Martin adds in one more challenge.

Challenge 3: You Left Your Cake Out in the What?
Betty Crocker Cakes and Frostings bring out the artist in everyone!
With 45 minutes on the clock contestants must plan, frost and decorate a cake. The challenge is that it must match the summer theme each contestant selected at random – which isn't exactly a piece of cake. This is the last challenge, so it all comes down to this.
