There’s nothing like the tart bite of fresh blackberries wrapped in a warm, vanilla cake, nestled in a sugared pie crust or layered with creamy yogurt in a pretty parfait. Try these 10 simply gorgeous desserts that whip those little fresh beauties into pure perfection.
Blackberry Parfait: In glasses, layer Yoplait® Greek Honey Vanilla Yogurt with fresh blackberries and your favorite granola for an easy, healthy treat in minutes.
Blackberry Fool: Beat a half pint of heavy whipped cream with ¼ cup sugar. Mash 2 cups fresh blackberries; stir into the cream. Spoon into small dishes, and serve with Betty Crocker® Sugar Cookies for dipping.
Blackberry Galette: On a large baking sheet, place 3 cups fresh blackberries in the center of a round Pillsbury® Refrigerated Pie Crust. Fold up the edges of the pie crust around the blackberries to form a slab pie. Brush the pie crust with 2 tablespoons of melted butter; sprinkle the crust and berries with ½ cup of sugar. Bake at 425 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until the edges of the pie crust are golden brown. Serve warm slices with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
