Fried Avocado Wedges (aka, avocado fries) are an amazing alternative to traditional french fries or even the delicious sweet potato fries. They are incredibly creamy and nutty on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The secret to the crunch is in the bread crumbs: Japanese bread crumbs called panko. You can serve the Fried Avocado Wedges as an appetizer all by themselves or as a side to a big juicy steak or hamburger.
They're fantastic on their own but are made even more special with the addition of a spicy wasabi lime mayo dipping sauce. The “heat” can be tailored to your liking simply by adding more or less wasabi powder.
