In just minutes, you can make a crowd-pleasing Chex Mix with the flavor of cake batter!

My best memories are of me and Mom in the kitchen. The most exciting of those times were when I was handed the mixing bowl so I could lick the last bits of cake batter. I still love the flavor of cake batter, and  I’m still a bowl licker! After I make a cake, I don’t turn over the bowl to my son until I’ve had a few licks myself. It’s a childhood habit that I just can’t kick.

Since I’m a little obsessed with the flavor of cake batter, I decided to make a cake batter-flavored Chex® Mix. It’s a sweet and crunchy snack the whole family will love. Plus, it’s super easy.

To get started, take some white chocolate chips and butter and melt in a bowl in the microwave. Make sure to stir every 30 seconds so you get a smooth mixture.

Then add vanilla extract and mix it up really well. Cake Batter Chex Mix
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Chex® Mix. Toss it well and then add the dry cake mix, powdered sugar and sprinkles. Cake Batter Chex Mix
Give that a good toss to coat it well. (You’ll probably have to use your hands.) Then spread this in a single layer in a large cookie sheet. Bake at 250° in a preheated oven for 30 minutes, stirring once halfway through the cooking process so that the mixture cooks evenly. Cake Batter Chex Mix
Now it is ready to serve! Store any leftover Chex ® Mix in an airtight container. Cake Batter Chex Mix
