Cilantro

cilantro

The pungent, citric leaves of fresh coriander that are widely used in Asian, Middle Eastern, Indian, Mexican and Portuguese cooking. The leaves are similar to flat-leaf parsley but are more rounded. Also known as Mexican parsley and Chinese parsley. People often have either a "love it" or "leave it" reaction to cilantro. If you have the latter, substitute parsley instead.
