Need Slow Cooker Ideas

I love to use my slow cooker, because I know that dinner will be ready when I get home from work. Does anyone have any new ideas that use chicken or pork?

I put 4 large chicken breast in a lightly sprayed croc pot. Then cover the chicken with my homemade BBQ sause but a bottle of your favorite store bought works great also. Cook on low 4-6 hours and the chicken falls apart and is not dry!  You can serve them whole with the sauce or take out and shred with two forks and return to croc pot. This makes greatttttt sandwiches!!

Yes, I have done this with both a chuck roast and boneless pork roast.............I put in a large can of cream of mushroom soup and a very little water to rinse the can....................I add a small bag of baby carrots...............potato..........onion.........mushrooms (my husband & I love mushrooms)......Lipton's Beefy onion soup....a red pepper..............and I cook on high approx 1 hour and then I turn it down to medium...............

I usually start this approx 11:30 - noon..................depending on how many pounds of meat I am using................I will be doing this tomorrow.............will start at noon.............let it go for 1 hour on high and then turn down to medium........and I have a 2 1/2 lb boneless port roast...............it will be done by 5:30 or six...............

This recipe was excellent and the meat is so tender.  Thank you for sharing.

Take boneless pork chops (you can brown them if you want).  Put them in the crock pot with 2 jars of spaghetti sauce (we like marinara) and cook on slow for 8 hrs. or high for 4.  Serve with pasta.  It makes the sauce taste homemade and the pork chops are so tender.  Kids love this recipe.

Patty,

"recipezaar.com" has over 300,000 recipes spanning the globe, from Albania to Zanzabaar.  Many of the recipies could be prepared in a crock pot with minor changes to the recipe.  The ethnic variations should provide the diversity/uniqueness that you are seeking.
