There is this place in Somerville Massachusetts, called Redbones. It's in Davis Square. It is one of the best BBQ Joints around. The beef ribs are the best I have ever had. They do a huge menu, that will surely have something most anyone will like. If you are in Boston, you gotta go there. It is close to downtown and Davis Square has great Irish Pubs and lots of other Live entertainment venues ensuring a great night out.   ENJOY   MIKE D

I am a Memphis transplant to Chicago almost 30 years now and still miss the best BBQ that is everywhere in Memphis, BUT that being said, Smoque is a great addition to the Chicago BBQ scene.  They do sell out from time to time and that means you know you are getting fresh 'cue everytime you go.  Never really like brisket before (Texas BBQ) but tried it at Smoque and it is delicious.  Their pulled pork is also tops and the offering of side dishes are nice.

It is easy to find, just south of Pulaski and Irving Park, right off the freeway.  I like to go for lunch.  Hope you will give it a try!

Another good one is Fat Willy's.  Both have websites, Google them if you need more info.

It saddens me to hear that a lot of people think Famous Dave's is great BBQ, maybe it's because I live in Kansas City and we have SO many options for BBQ.  Everyone has their favorites here in KC, but my personal favorites are Gates BBQ which definately has the best sauce, great meat, massive portions and the best fries EVER!!!  Rosedale BBQ is my husbands long time favorite, he took me there once and we both agreed it was horrible that night, but everyone else in KC says that Rosedale is THE BBQ place in KC.  I also like Oden's BBQ which is a small BBQ joint in my hometown on the outskirts of KC.

PJ's BBQ Here in Saratoga Springs New York is really good... huge pit in the back that they cook in and it is only open seasonally... Chain wise I would have to say Famous Daves... very satisfying!

Best I have ever had was at the BBQ Cookoff they have in Canton OH... there were like 30-50 vendors and all had some of the best brisket and ribs you could ask for!

Every summer they have a BBQ cookoff in Canton... tons of vendors come and you will have by far some of the best ribs to choose from!

I actually have 2 favorite BBQ restaurants.  Dickies BBQ in Denver, CO and Frank's Country Inn in Tulsa, OK.  Both places have excellent BBQ.

food is like friends, you can't have one without the other, food and friends.

Here in Kansas there are a few places for decent BBQ.  There's ribs over in Williamsburg - just off I-35.  Then in the Flint Hills area there's Bobby D's in Emporia and Bad Ole Bern's.  Both have good meat, but Bobby D's gets you with their sides.  Always good to eat there!Smile

Looking forward to our next morsel together:)
