Good Day Everyone,

My name is Randy and I live in the great Pacific Northwest. I have been cooking since I was young as my mom worked and I either learned to cook or starve (see profile). As I live close to the Pacific, went to Seaside, Oregon yesterday, seafood is my passion. I love to fish for Salmon and Steelhead and have been told my smoked fish is the best everyone has had (hanging head in humility). Grilling is my favorite way to cook the entree, but I know my way around a kitchen also. Anyway, this is starting to sound like a profile, so suffice to say I will try to give as much as I get from this site and a thank you in advance to everyone who will help me over the years when I visit with a question about cooking. Have a great life, everyone.

                                                                                                                      Randy

That's an easy one. When I cooked dinner for the family, I made enough to have abundant leftovers and then packaged them up for my lunch the next day. It also gave the kids something to eat when they were hungry..uh..umm...when weren't they?, between meals. Spaghetti and such is always good, I don't care how many times a day you eat it, and a larger roast or ham makes the best sandwiches also.

Hi Everyone.  I'm chicagosinger and I'm new to this site.  Talk about jumping right in, I've already downloaded some great recipes in my recipe book.  I do shows at nursing homes and sing for about an hour.  I'm in a wheelchair but I don't let that get in the way and it's alot of fun.  I haven't always liked to cook but when found myself in this chair last February I had to find ways of keeping my miind off of it.  I started cooking and found out not only did I like it but I was preety good too.  Years ago when I first married, I actually burnt boiling a hot dog. Can you believe it?  I guess alot has changed. My best dish is Chicken Fettuchini Alfredo, My husband loves it!  However, I love to bake and can't wait to build up my recipe book with baking recipes.  This is a great site site and I hope to hear from the rest of the community soon.

Hello!  I am a SAHM w/ 3 kids.  I am interested in finding new recipes to please all age groups!  This is becoming a challenge for me!  Anyways...I am a BIG crockpot cooker so I am interested in anything that would involve my crockpot.  I also am interested in any recipes I can find for salsa.  I made a few batches last year and my DH loved it.  This year we planted the garden specifically for me to use the produce to make salsa.  In a few weeks I will be up to my elbows in tomatoes, peppers and everything else!  If anyone could forward any info on freezing salsa that would be great!  Anyways... I look forward to coming back to this site to get info!!!!
