Can anyone tell me how to save ginger root ? I was given about 6 fresh roots but I dont know if I can freeze them or what.

I store fresh ginger root in the freezer. Just place the fresh ginger toes or fingers in a freezer bag and freeze. Later take out a piece of ginger, cut off what you need, peel and use as directed.

I tried posting this earlier and the computer went nutty so I apologize in advance for the repeat post.
