Hawaiian Cupcakes

Back in the early to mid 60's Bisquick had a recipe for bite size cupcakes made with pineapple. My mom use to make them all the time for school parties and sleepovers. We can not find the recipe and I would love to make these for my children. Does anyone out there have the recipe?

Thanks,

Mannmom2

SUGAR BUNS HAWAII

1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/3 c. Bisquick baking mix
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. milk

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix pineapple, 1/2 cup butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Divide evenly among 12 greased muffin cups.

Stir baking mix, sugar, melted butter and milk to a soft dough. Spoon over pineapple mixture. Bake 15-20 minutes. Invert onto tray. Serve warm.

Those who forget the pasta are condemned to reheat it.
