6th Edition BC cookbook, looking for a recipe..help?

Hi; 


 I have the 6th edition Betty Crocker cookbook. Unfortunatly it's falling apart (used zillions of times lol). I lost my favorite cookie recipe so if anyone could help I would be soooo happy. It's "Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies). I have the newest cookbook but it has "insideout chocolate cookies" it's not the same:(


The 6th Edition book was copyright 1986 or so?

6th Edition BC cookbook, looking for a recipe..help?

I have a Betty Crocker cook book it's the red paper back. There is a receipe in it for chocolate chip cookies, but not chocolate chocolate chip cookies.


This is what you need:


1 cup margarine or butter, softened


3/4 cup sugar


3/4 cup brown sugar


1 egg


Mix  marg., sugars, and egg in bowl


2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour


1 teaspoon baking soda


1/2 teaspoon salt


Stir in flour,baking soda and salt ( dough will be stiff) Add nuts and chips.


1 cup chopped nuts


1 package semisweet chocolate chips


Drop by teaspoon on to ungreased cookie sheet 2 " apart.  Bake 8-10 min @ 375 temp.

Thank you for replying so quickly:) Maybe it's called Double choc chip...I'm not sure but I was almost positive it came from that book..
