Years ago, I used a friend's B C cookbook to make some beer bread. It was incredible. Ever since, I've tried to find the Betty Crocker recipe, to no avail. Does anyone have an "old" BC recipe for beer batter bread? If you happen to have the recipe, would you kindly share it? Please send it to .

I have a great recipe for beer batter bread--it takes a can of regular beer.  The problem is that it is on a moving van at the moment...when I unpack, I will post it.  It is terrific and only takes about 30 minutes!!!  It is great for last minute bread and everyone loves it....so hold on and I should be able to send shortly!
