Asian Helper Mongolian-Style Beef?

Having been a Hamburger Helper person for quite a few years, I decided to try the newest creation called Asian Helper Mongolian-Style Beef.  I am severely disatisfied with this product.  I cooked it according to the directions on the box, and it ends up looking like spaghetti with light brown water and about 2 peas floating in it.  It instantly threw both mine and my wifes appetites completely off.  It looks nasty.  Neither of us are going attempting to stomach this concoction.  I have no idea what to do with this now.  I hate to toss it but what else can I do.  Sigh.  Now it's 10:30PM and I have to start all over with something else.

Actually, we tried it just a few days ago and I really loved it. I'm not going to say it looked beautiful but I didn't think it looked any worse than any of the HHs. I'm planning on trying it again to see if I change my mind about it. I may have had a few coctails that night and might have just been really hungry;P

I made this Asian Mongolian-style Beef and I loved it. But I never stick to the directions, I added some fresh cut yellow onions, and fresh red and yellow bell peppers and it came out amazing. I also threw in a little Sesame Oil. I like flavor and all the HH's just don't give me enough flavor so I'm always adding spices and fresh cut veggies. You should try making it your own; not the “creative” ingredients they list on the boxes sometimes. I never measure what I put in, I just cut up and throw in what happens to look good to me at the moment.

I-Love-You~ Those three words have my life in them.

2 THUMBS DOWN! Sorry but this one failed the test miserably. The whole reason a lot of buy Hambuger Helper is because we are too busy to cook on some nights & this helps us. If I have to add this that & the other thing to make it palatable then why bother? This was horrible. This should of never left the test kitchen.

My family and I actually really liked this one. We added some chopped onion, fresh garlic, and mushrooms. I actually liked this one more than many of the regular HH.
