Help with Comfort foods

HI,

Just started a diet and on day ten with no sugar. I am doing well and with exercise and menu planning I hope to do better.  What can I do to help the diet go better and include comfort foods like pasta, hot chocolate, a cookie after work with a cup of tea or bread with supper? I am so afraid of sugar at this point I am freaking out. But there must be alternative recipes that will help in my journey? Most foods sold are perhaps 100 calorie but have the hydro-oils in them. Not good enough when I could make at home. ANYONE out there with a hint or two?

IF you do not cook you do not live! Don't eat out of a box or fast food window all your life. Open a cookbook and begin a new chapter in your life.

Hi that sounds kind of tricky, what you could do is substitute your regular pasta for whole wheat pasta and try using margarine spread that has no hydronated oils in it like i can't believe it's not butter or country crock when baking cookies
