Heaven on Earth
by Heidi at Betty Crocker  6/23/2008 4:13:00 PM

I hit the town with AC and Luke on Thursday night. After a failed attempt to see a Journey cover band out in the ’burbs, we drove to Minneapolis to Triple Rock Social Club where I enjoyed some of the greatest mac and cheese of my life. Maybe it was the beer I consumed prior to my meal, or maybe it was due to the fact that it was 10 pm and I still hadn’t eaten dinner, but that mac and cheese rocked. It came with a big chunk of Texas toast that tasted like a slice of heaven. I ate every single noodle and crumb (very unusual for me). When we asked the server what was on the Texas toast we were told “margarine” (we later decided the amazing taste must have been picked up from the grill it was cooked on). And then, as if I didn’t already like this place enough, I learned they have free bacon Wednesday. I think I may have found a new home.
