Muffin Glory Cake
by AndiatBettyCrocker  2/5/2008 9:02:00 AM

One of the most popular coffee cake recipes on BettyCrocker.com is Muffin Glory Cake. It's easy to make because it starts with a muffin mix. To the mix we added lots of fresh ingredients including: chopped apple, shredded carrot, walnuts, coconut and canned, crushed pineapple. It's no wonder everyone likes it so much!

Reviewers of the recipe on our site indicated they’d be interested in making the cake in a larger size. Last week, in our Test Kitchens, we tried it. We doubled the recipe and baked it in a 13x9-inch pan and it worked perfectly—we just had to bake it for the maximum amount of time stated in the recipe. This crowd-size version makes 18 servings and is perfect for a special breakfast or brunch.
