Grandson Blake stayed with us for a couple of nights last week while his parents went to the hospital to bring home his new baby brother, Finn. As always when we get a chance to spend time with Blake, we find some time to cook. One morning we used a Tovolo Pancake Pen to make some fun pancakes. I whipped up a batch of Bisquick pancakes (see recipe below) in the bottle of the "pancake pen" and gave it a shake. Blake (with a little help from Jack) made pancakes in the shape of the letter B–the first letter Blake learned to print.

The pancake Bs were fun to make and fun to eat!

Pancakes
2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs
Pour ingredients into bottle; shake until blended.
Squeeze batter into large skillet in any shape desired.
Cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden.
14 pancakes

Big brother, Blake with 3-day old Finn (Finnegan Michael).
