While paging through some old issues of Bon Appetit magazines to make room in our bookcase for new ones, I ran across this mayonnaise ad.

The recipe for Hellmann's Smokin' Succulent Grilled Pork Chops looked good and since it took only six ingredients, we decided to try it. Jack spread the mayonnaise mixture on the pork chops.

Then, he went out to our deck (the sky looked amazing since it had just stopped raining) and grilled our chops while I made some coleslaw.

We really loved these “chops” seasoned with lime juice, cilantro, garlic and chipotle chili powder. I put the recipe in my summer recipe notebook and we will definitely make it again.
