Chili and Cornbread

I told you about our chili cook-off contest a while ago and promised to send all the recipes to you. You can find them now on the Tablespoon website.

With the chili, we baked several pans of the delicious Redstone Restaurant Famous Cornbread recipe, served at the Redstone American Grill restaurant (located in Minnesota, Illinois, New Jersey and Pennsylvania).
I baked a pan of this cornbread on Monday night and brought it over to Jason’s and Katie’s house on Tuesday night to serve with some chili for dinner, while we were baby-sitting Blake. He loved this bread and he is not the only one who did. We left the remaining wedges of it at their house and Jason brought them to work with him the following morning. Here is an email message that I got from Jason yesterday:
Mom,
I shared the cornbread with Patrick at work. Can you send him the recipe? Jason
Patrick wrote (to Jason): Derrick and I both agree that is the best cornbread we've ever had. Please send the recipe our way if possible.
